This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) governs the collection, use, storage, transfer, and protection of personal information by Ashadeep Luxe (“ADL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a luxury handicraft export enterprise headquartered in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. ADL operates the website ashadeepluxe.com and any related digital properties (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, submitting an inquiry, or entering into any commercial relationship with ADL, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and consent to the practices described herein. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.
1. Definitions
For the purposes of this Policy, the following terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them below:
“Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, including but not limited to name, email address, telephone number, business affiliation, IP address, and purchasing or inquiry history.
“Processing” means any operation performed on Personal Data, whether or not by automated means, including collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure, dissemination, or erasure.
“Data Controller” means the natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of Processing of Personal Data. ADL is the Data Controller in respect of all Personal Data collected through the Platform.
“Third Party” means any natural or legal person other than you, ADL, and persons authorised to process Personal Data under the direct authority of ADL.
2. Information We Collect
ADL may collect the following categories of Personal Data:

–Full name and professional title
–Business name and country of operation
–Email address and telephone number
–Nature of your inquiry, design brief, or sourcing requirements
–Any correspondence transmitted via the Platform’s contact form or by email
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
–Internet Protocol (IP) address and approximate geographic location
–Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
–Pages visited, referral URLs, and time spent on the Platform
–Cookies, pixel tags, and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6)
2.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from third-party analytics providers, trade show platforms, or industry directories through which you have expressed interest in ADL or comparable luxury goods enterprises. Such information is processed in accordance with this Policy.
3. Legal Basis and Purpose of Processing
ADL processes Personal Data on the following legal bases, as applicable:
3.1 Contractual Necessity
Where you have entered into, or are taking steps to enter into, a commercial agreement with ADL — including for the sourcing, customisation, or export of handicraft goods — Processing is necessary for the performance of, or preparatory to, that contract.
3.2 Legitimate Interests
ADL processes Personal Data in pursuit of its legitimate business interests, including to respond to trade inquiries, maintain client and prospect records, improve the Platform’s functionality, and conduct marketing communications directed at trade buyers, interior designers, importers, and related professionals in the luxury goods sector. Such Processing is proportionate to the interests pursued and does not override your fundamental rights.
3.3 Consent
Where required by applicable law, ADL will seek your express consent prior to Processing, in particular for direct marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time without prejudice to the lawfulness of Processing prior to such withdrawal.
3.4 Legal Obligation
ADL may process Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations, including obligations under Indian export control regulations, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and any applicable rules thereunder.
4. How We Use Your Information
Your Personal Data may be used for the following purposes:
–Responding to inquiries, sourcing requests, and requests for quotation
–Preparing, executing, and administering commercial agreements
–Communicating with you regarding new collections, artisan collaborations, or relevant market developments
–Conducting due diligence and compliance screening in relation to international trade regulations
–Analysing Platform usage to improve user experience and commercial effectiveness
–Fulfilling legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations
–Protecting the rights, property, and safety of ADL and its artisan partners
5. Disclosure of Personal Data
ADL does not sell, rent, or trade Personal Data to Third Parties for commercial purposes. We may, however, disclose Personal Data in the following circumstances:
5.1 Service Providers
We engage trusted third-party service providers — including web hosting providers, email delivery platforms, analytics services, and payment processors — who process Personal Data strictly on our behalf and under contractual obligations of confidentiality and data protection.
5.2 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of all or substantially all of ADL’s assets, Personal Data may be transferred to the relevant successor entity, subject to equivalent data protection obligations.
5.3 Legal and Regulatory Disclosure
ADL may disclose Personal Data where required to do so by applicable law, court order, governmental authority, or to protect the legal rights and interests of ADL, including in connection with any customs, export, or trade compliance investigation.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Platform may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance functionality and analyse usage patterns. Categories of cookies employed may include:
–Strictly Necessary Cookies: Essential to the operation of the Platform and cannot be disabled without affecting core functionality.
–Analytical / Performance Cookies: Enable us to count visits and traffic sources to measure and improve Platform performance (e.g., Google Analytics or equivalent).
–Preference Cookies: Allow the Platform to remember user preferences and personalise the experience.
You may configure your browser to refuse or delete cookies at any time. Please note that disabling cookies may impair certain features of the Platform. ADL does not currently respond to browser-based “Do Not Track” signals.
7. International Transfer of Personal Data
ADL operates internationally and may transfer your Personal Data to recipients located outside the Republic of India, including in the United States of America, the United Kingdom, and the European Union, in connection with our trade activities and service providers.
Where Personal Data is transferred to jurisdictions that do not provide an equivalent level of data protection to that applicable in India, ADL shall implement appropriate safeguards including standard contractual clauses, data processing agreements, or equivalent mechanisms to ensure the lawful transfer of data.
8. Data Retention
ADL retains Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by applicable law. In general:
–Inquiry and contact form data: retained for a period of up to three (3) years from the date of last correspondence, or the duration of any resulting commercial relationship, whichever is longer.
–Transaction and export records: retained for a minimum of seven (7) years in compliance with applicable Indian accounting, customs, and tax obligations.
–Analytics data: retained in anonymised or aggregated form in accordance with the terms of the applicable analytics service provider.
Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, Personal Data will be securely deleted or anonymised.
9. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law and verification of your identity, you may exercise the following rights in relation to your Personal Data:
–Right of Access: to obtain confirmation of whether ADL processes your Personal Data and, if so, to receive a copy thereof.
–Right to Rectification: to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data.
–Right to Erasure: to request deletion of your Personal Data in circumstances permitted by law.
–Right to Restriction: to request that Processing of your Personal Data be suspended in certain circumstances.
–Right to Object: to object to Processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes.
–Right to Data Portability: where technically feasible and legally applicable, to receive your Personal Data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
–Right to Withdraw Consent: where Processing is based on consent, to withdraw such consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior Processing.
To exercise any of the above rights, please submit a written request to the contact details set out in Section 12 of this Policy. ADL will respond within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid request.
10. Security of Personal Data
ADL implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect Personal Data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure, or access. These measures are reviewed and updated periodically in accordance with evolving best practices and applicable regulatory requirements.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is entirely secure. ADL cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted via the Platform and shall not be liable for any breach that occurs beyond the scope of our reasonable control.
11. Minors
The Platform is directed exclusively at trade professionals and is not intended for use by persons under the age of eighteen (18). ADL does not knowingly collect Personal Data from minors. If you believe that ADL has inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately at the details set out in Section 12, and we will take prompt steps to delete such information.

ADL is committed to resolving any complaint or concern relating to Personal Data in a timely and transparent manner. If you remain dissatisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.
13. Amendments to this Policy
ADL reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time. Any material changes will be notified to registered users by email or by prominent notice on the Platform, and the revised Policy will be effective from the updated Effective Date stated at the head of this document. Continued use of the Platform following such notification constitutes acceptance of the amended Policy.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy and any dispute arising from it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. The courts of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any claims arising from or in connection with this Policy, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply under the laws of your country of residence.
